After attending the WTCA Board Meeting, Mr Liao paid a visit to WTC Lille and discovered the whole team of international organisations hosted by the WTC.

Patrick Van Den Schrieck, WTC Lille President, and Jérôme Toulemonde, WTC Lille director, WTCA Board Member, welcomed Mr Liao in the morning at the World Trade Center together with the State representative, the Nord Pas de Calais Regional Council, the development agencies, the international department of the Chamber of Commerce and 2 member companies of the WTC, trading with China.
The delegation could then experience the new and high tech multimedia center viewing a film on the region before sharing experiences upon how the World Trade Center managed both the building and the trade services.
Then the delegation was received in the Chamber of Commerce, where the President of the regional CCI, Mr Philippe Vasseur, former French Minister, and Mr Luc Doublet, President of CCI International exchanged about the relationships between Lille Region and China, and about the projects which will be implemented in a near future. As a first step, a trade mission is to be organised in November.


Fond of Arts, Mr Liao wished to visit the Palais des Beaux Arts, which could be arranged in the afternoon though it is usually closed on Mondays. He was thus offered a really VIP and private visit of the Museum.
